Trenna the Impersonator!

As Trayci was going through some pictures I took a peek at some videos that were made while I was gone for the summer. I came across this one and HAD to post it. Get ready, its a doosie!

Avery's Horsey

This video was taken at the first of the summer but I just had to share. Avery was just learning his animal sounds. He started with cat, carrying around a lion king figurine around the house and meowing his little heart out. So then he learned the sound a horse makes and ... well, the video just slays me. I hope that the shaking of the camera isn't too obvious. I was cracking up the whole time and it's hard to keep the camera steady when you're laughing your butt off.

Chelan County Fair Best of Show

We had such a great time at the fair. We saw crazy animals, cool crafts, and I even got some free polished rocks for my collection. I put together kind of a BEST OF SHOW slide to show off the animals and art & crafts.

The Arts & Crafts were amazing; quilts, canning, jewelry, woodworking, painting, and photography. They even had spinning and weaving. One lady that was spinning soy fibers into yarn said that two little girls had made her day. After watching what she was doing one leaned over to the other and whispered excitedly "I know what she's doing! She's making GOLD!!!" The lady tried to tell her that she was making yarn but she would have none of it. She knew what spinning wheels were for. Ben had a great time too. He was totally taken with the weaving looms. He spent about an hour at a table loom and made a cool strap to keep his key attached to his scooter. He is a Webb after all!

Girls Only Spa Day

So...this is what you do when a 10 yr old sleeps over and wants to spend some girl time with her grandma. Yep. It's not pretty. I must admit it was fun and as ugly as this looks, it does wonders for your skin. That is Aunt Ronda, Rebekah (Natalie's daughter) and me...before. We should have taken an after. Oh, well. We also soaked our feet and did pedicures too.

Mom solved the mystery

As mom was tidying up today she spotted Trennas Joseph Smith book. It looked very thick and colorful. On further inspection this is what she found.

They're paper clips! And mom took this pic AFTER taking out a hand full! *sigh* All I can do is smile and shake my head.

Trenna was voted as Ms. USA Juniors division at The Center. Mom and Dad found out the time of the ceremony and went out there to take pictures. Here she is : Ms. USA!

Over all I think she had a BLAST!

living with Trenna ...

Ok so mom and dad flew out to Detroit MI on Thursday and I was left to look after Trenna. She now goes to a Center for the handicapped and elderly from 6am to 4pm. That first morning was a rush - I didn't hear my alarm go off until 45 min afterwards so we had major rushing to do. Then on Friday it was going to be a 50's party so mom had asked me to dress her up. I did so and Trenna asked me to do her hair. So I'm curling it and its cute and she asks me if I'm gonna spray it. I tell her that I will when I finish. Afterwards - about 10 minutes. I look over at her and shes touching it.

I say - don't touch it, you'll mess it up.
Trenna - I wanna brush it.
Me - but that'll mess it up.
Trenna - I maybe have a brush at the Center and brush it there.
Me- *scowl* whatever

Then about 5 minutes after that I look back at her and shes touching it with both hands now. She looks at me and then quickly rubs her hands back and forth through her hair totally messing it up. My eyes widen in anger and I walk out of the house. I couldn't be in there with her - I was so angry! I got up at the freakin' butt crack of dawn to help her get ready and do what she asks and then she messes it all up. After a few minutes she comes to find me and asks me whats wrong.

You're not being nice to me Trenna! You asked me to do your hair and then you messed it up! You're being mean to me!
what was her response? Drum roll please.

I not care.

*deep breaths * don't kill her now, its ok, shes gonna be going soon.

You know Trenna I can keep you here, not let you go to the Center. she gave me a look that said yea right. And i knew that we both didn't want that. I was so glad when the shuttle van pulled up I almost ran to it. the next day with the coaching of Trudi she apologized. *sigh* Needless to say I'm SUPER glad that mom and dad are coming home tonight!
