From the mouth of Trenna

Yesterday, Trayci, Trenna and I ran some errands one of which included the library. Most of our errands took us to the Henderson side of Vegas so we went to the Green Valley Library. Latley Trenna has been obsessed with anything circus! So Trayci and I helped her find some videos. I, myself have only been there once before and remembered the ... intresting librarians. One in particular. She has short curly hair dyed every color of the rainbow: pink, blue, purple, etc. etc. She was wearing many necklaces, each a different color. Also to go with this were her tattoos and peircings: her lip and her nose, both nostrils. She had on big white framed glasses that would have slid off her nose if the peircings hadn't stopped them.
As we were waiting in line Trenna is having a hard time keeping her eyeballs in her head so Trayci whispers "Look Trenna. She looks like a clown huh?" Trenna just nodded.
It just so happened that they were called to her station. As we walked out Trayci said "Hey, Trenna. Did the clown help us?" "Yes." was all Trenna replied.
Later that night she was telling mom and dad of our travels. Knowing this already, I dived into my newly aquired book; AUSTENLAND by Shannon Hale. (very good by the way!!!) anyways my head snaps up when I hear a word come out of Trennas mouth that is not usually in her vocabulary : Retard
Everyone was laughing, I look to Trayci. "What did she say?!"
"What do you think she said?"
"Well I know what she said but who was she talking about?"
"She was talking about that girl at the library. She said, ' That clown is a retard!'"

Oh Trenna, we love you so much. Sometimes you can say the simplest thing that we would die to say. Trayci and I contemplated going back just to get a picture to post but we decided we're not that sneeky. LOL!!!

Unclean, Unclean! ... and more

I guess that I'm not used to being sick very often, yes, even with the adorable carrier monkeys that I associate with regularly. Trenna started it by sounding all froggy and funky at the first of the week. Within a day or two she was fine, for the most part. Thursday I caught it. It was 2+ days of chills, fevers, sweats and repeat. Once the flu passed the powers that be granted me a cherry on top, a nice cold to finish up with. Don't feel too bad for me, I shared too. Anamarie, Tyler, Dad and Taneil either have been or are now experiencing some part of this. So much for bonding. Sorry guys. I'm trying to feel better and hope to real soon. In the mean time, I did get plenty of time to veg out in front of the tv. I watched tons of BYUTV including Pres. Hinckley's funeral and the news conference that announced the new presidency of the church. I am excited to see how Presidents Monson, Eyring and Uchtdorf lead the church. Interesting, interesting. Well, I can't seem to type and control my coughy, snotty self ... so, later.
